While Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) says we have only 12 years left on Earth before everything melts into oblivion due to global warming, Pope Francis of the Roman Catholic Church says we have more like 30. Still, something needs to be done immediately to stop climate change, Francis contends, otherwise everybody is going to die.
Francis made these and other claims at a recent TED Talk entitled, “Countdown,” which seeks “to accelerate solutions to the climate crisis.” Another goal of the talk is to create “a better future by cutting greenhouse gas emissions in half by 2030, in the race to a zero-carbon world.”
In the opener to the talk, Francis starts babbling about “science” and how it “tells us, every day, with more precision, that urgent action is needed.” If the people of the world hope to avoid “radical and catastrophic climate change,” then something absolutely must be done now – “this is a scientific fact,” he further declared.
Echoing the alarmist verbiage of Al Gore from 20 years ago, Francis, who lives in a lavish estate behind a giant wall, is of the persuasion that human beings need to really start thinking about how to fundamentally shift the way they live in order to stop greenhouse gases from heating the planet to the point that it starts melting.
“From this crisis, none of us must come out the same,” he further stated about how the Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) plandemic is accomplishing much to advance the planet to the next phase of the New World Order.
“We cannot come out the same. From a crisis, we never come out the same. And it will take time, and hard work, to overcome it,” he added.

Recognizing that tens of millions of people do not believe in his hairbrained conspiracy theories about climate change, Francis is encouraging those who do to “persuade those in doubt,” helping them to “imagine new solutions” to living life that do not involve driving around a gas-powered vehicle or eating meat.
The ultimate goal, Francis says, is to create a new world “where we can meet the needs of the present generations, including everyone, without compromising the possibilities of future generations.”
Keep in mind that these statements come just days after Francis was outed for pushing the LGBTQ agenda in a new documentary film that encourages people to go gay or trans because we are all “God’s children.”
Adopting an “integral ecology” approach, according to Francis’ 2015 encyclical Laudato Si, will address numerous problems including the “cry of the Earth” and “the cry of the poor.”
All of us, Francis contends, are “interdependent on each other, as well as on our Mother Earth,” which he says should be the guiding principle of future life.
Apparently, Mother Earth has replaced Mother Mary as the Roman Catholic Church’s icon of highest deity. Mother Earth, according to Francis, must be praised and worshiped in order to fix the problem of global warming and bring about a “new ecological and social awareness” in the “defense of the environment and for social justice.”
“Providing adequate nutrition for all, through non-destructive farming methods, should become the main purpose of the entire cycle of food production and distribution,” Francis says.
All fossil fuels must also be replaced “with clean energy sources,” and we have no more than “30 years” to get the job done, he concludes, before it is no longer possible to “drastically reduce greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere.”
